Personal and professional growth can be challenging when individuals have limited access to advice, role models or people who understand the difficulties they face. Mi Venture recognises the value of encouragement, shared experiences and practical guidance in helping individuals make progress.

Our mentorship and guidance focus aims to create opportunities for people to learn from others, ask questions, explore solutions and develop clearer plans for their futures. Through appropriate connections and support initiatives, individuals can gain insights that help them make informed decisions about employment, personal development and entrepreneurship.

What is included:

• Career guidance and direction: Support with exploring career options, identifying development needs and making informed decisions about employment and professional growth.

• Mentorship connections: Opportunities to connect with experienced individuals, professionals, entrepreneurs or community members who may offer relevant guidance and insights.

• Personal goal guidance: Encouragement to set realistic goals, identify obstacles, develop action plans and track progress.

• Entrepreneurial guidance: Opportunities to learn from business owners and explore practical lessons about starting, managing and growing a business.

• Peer support and shared experiences: Creating opportunities for individuals to learn from others facing similar challenges and share useful knowledge and experiences.

• Problem-solving and decision-making: Encouraging individuals to consider their options, identify possible solutions and make more informed decisions.

• Motivation and accountability: Helping participants stay focused on their goals, recognise their progress and identify practical next steps.

• Referral to additional support: Connecting individuals with relevant organisations, training providers, career services or professional support where appropriate.

Our goal: To help individuals access encouragement, practical advice and meaningful connections that support their personal growth, career development and entrepreneurial journey.

Note: Mentorship opportunities may be offered through available volunteers, professionals, partner organisations and community networks. The frequency and type of support will depend on the resources available.
